This week we have done Drama with Miss Strawbridge, Mini ball competition, reading, maths, peer tutoring, enquiring work, maths test, learnt how to use umajin.

This week I have learnt if you want to achieve something stick to it and don’t give up.

Writing Anthyology
Rugby finals against Marist
Sometime last year I was playing fullback for Kia Toa the best rugby club ever in the finals against Marist. So when we were doing some training the referee came over to check our boots and mouth guards. The referee told us that the game was in 10 minutes.
We carried on training then our coach named the team our back line was first five was Preston, second five was Rebekah, centre was Joey, wingers were Harry and DJ. We pack up our gear and went to our field that we were playing on. We dropped our gear and then went on the field and waited for our opposition to come. The ref came on and then Marist did to. The ref blew his whistle to start the game. Then off we went tackle, after tackle we did our move dougy it was just the 1st five inside pass to the fullback which was me, I gassed through the defence I got tackled. The forwards rushed over to blow over, the forwards took the ball twice our first five called a move dog, dog, dog our half back Deano passed it out. Dog was just a cut with the first and second five, She bowled threw the defence and got tackled. The forwards rushed over and blew over once again. The forwards took it up 2 more times. We scored some tries and Marist scored some tries.
The referee blew his whistle to signal that it was half time. We walked over to our coaches, got our drink bottles and sat on the grass to have a team talk. Our coaches talked about how we can improve on the field. We went back on the field and so did Marist. The ref blew his whistle and Marist kicked off the forwards got it they drove forward twice they passed it out .We did a move dougy they tackled us. Then the forwards rushed over to blow over. They drove up the middle. Our first five called a move dog, dog, dog our halfback passed it out our first and second five did a cut. She got tackled the forwards rushed to blow over the forwards took it up the middle. We scored some tries and so did Marist. Ten minutes to go they kicked the ball. I got it I ran forward, I did a fake with Rawiri. The forwards went for him. I saw Rebekah she was on my left they got my legs I passed it to her she ran for the try line. No one could get her she was by the try line and the side line she ran under the goal post and scored. We had sealed the victory .After 40 minutes the referee blew his whistle it was full time we had won the game!
