Maths. Ratios and Proportion.

I am working at stage 5 for Ratios and Proportions because I use addition facts to find a fraction of a number. To become stage 6 I need to be able to combine addition facts with multiplication and division facts to solve problems that involve finding fractions of a set or region, naming improper fractions, and division with remainders.

CSI Reading Programme

On Monday I did a running record with Miss Gorrie and found out I have gone up two levels. I think this is because of the new CSI programme we are using in class. I went home and shared what I thought about it with my mum who is a teacher at Roslyn school and the team leader. I think I have had this success because I learnt how to infer and am now a detextive. I think the programme is really good and I am learning to use strategies while I read.
